The Third Annual Giro de Vino Bike Ride!

  • The American Cancer Society, Valenzano Winery and Cynergy Cycling Club of South Jersey invite you to participate in the Third Annual Giro d’Vino Bike Ride on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016. This year’s event, benefiting the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, pedals off bright and early at 8 a.m. from the Valenzano Winery, Route 206, in Shamong, NJ.

    Choose from a variety of routes ranging from a family-friendly route of 25 miles through longer routes of 35, 45 and 63 miles through the beautiful countryside of Southern Burlington County, including such historic small towns like Chatsworth and Batsto Village. Cue sheets will be provided so riders can choose whether to ride alone or in groups sorted by speed and riding ability. Rest stops will be located at Hot Diggity Dog, Mick’s Canoe and Kayak Rental, and Batsto Village. This ride will also be fully SAG supported by Wheelies Bike Shop, 176 Route 70, in Medford.

    All rides conclude back at Valenzano Winery, where riders can sample a variety of wines and enjoy healthy snacks. Paid registrants will receive a special commemorative T-shirt, a souvenir wine glass, one ticket for a complimentary 4-oz. glass of wine and snacks.
